New Bandag M-Drive 001 pushes limits of performance in on/off segment

Bandag M-Drive 001

Bridgestone has launched the all-new Bandag M-Drive 001 retread. The company says the M-Drive has been designed to meet the challenges of construction, civil engineering and other on/off applications across a wide range of surface and weather conditions improving mileage performance while extending tyre life and lowering the total cost per km for fleet managers and operators.

“Tyres are already a critical component in the efficiency of any operation. And in on/off environments, where they have to meet the dual constraints of on-road safety and off-the-road performance, fleet managers really need tyres that can go the distance,” said Harald Van Ooteghem, Senior Manager Truck & Bus Tyres Product Marketing. The new Bandag M-Drive 001 retread now takes them even further: maximising the lifespan of valuable casings without compromising on safety, durability or traction. The best of both worlds for long-lasting performance in all possible worlds.

Bridgestone says that some of its most advanced tyre technology, combining specially engineered compounds and innovative pattern designs, went in to the development of the M-Drive 001, delivering outstanding, long-lasting and cost-effective performance.

As well as being available for extending the life and performance of the corresponding Bridgestone M-Drive 001 tyre, it can also be used to retread other premium branded casings in sizes 13R22.5, 295/80R22.5 and 315/80R22.5, covering the most common on/off vehicles on the market.
